BridgePoint Ventures, along with its strategic partners Sarani
Resorts and Desarrollo de Turismo Sostenible, is currently
developing a privately held island property in the Caribbean. The
property represents a little over 1/3 of the entire island and
consists of 30 Hectares (75 acres) located on Isla Pastor, in Bocas
del Toro, Panama.
The Sarani Story
The team of The Sarani Eco-Luxury Resort has great interest in
the "Green" movement and sustainable development, believing that
environmental characteristics should dictate the style and
evolution of each property they develop. Their ultimate goal, once
completed, is for the resort communities to fit in seamlessly with
the natural environment in which they are set.
Inspiration comes from global communities living in harmony with
nature. Sarani pride themselves on offering 5-star luxurious
services and amenities in an eco-friendly and environmentally
sensitive setting, offered through the use of sustainable and
renewable resources.
Coupled with the use of state-of-the-art photovoltaic power,
they are striving to offer a 5-star "neutral carbon footprint"
island development unlike any other. In all of their resorts, they
will embrace nature and take every step imaginable to be
responsible stewards of the environment.
Once complete, Sarani Resort will be a unique high-end, "Off the
Grid - Green" hotel and resort development. The first phase
includes a 35 room boutique hotel consisting of private and
semi-private bungalows along with various amenities and common area
buildings.
The second phase of the development will include the first phase
of the Residences (62 villas) which will form part of the resort
and overall hotel program. Boutique Hospitality Management (BHM)
has been contracted as the hotel operating company, boasting an
impressive track record in managing high-end boutique hotels in
large US cities as well as Premier Island Boutique Hotels and
Spas.
The hotel will be branded "Sarani" but has officially become
part of the Preferred Boutique Brand of Preferred Hotels. The only
other Preferred Hotel in Panama is the world renowned Trump Ocean
Club located in Panama City.
Expected to open in Fall of 2014, this intimate eco-luxury and
wellness resort will offer a high-end luxury eco-adventure
experience, organic cuisine, nature-inspired Spa, personalized
wellness program and luxurious amenities on the most pristine
island in Panama's stunning Bocas del Toro Archipelago.
