management and disposition of portfolios of residential REO's and
non-performing mortgages.
We manage on our own account in addition to providing private
label and advisory services for funds, institutional investors,
ultra high net worth investors and family offices globally. We
acquired our first portfolio of non-performing mortgages in April
2008 at an 85% discount from GMAC. Since 2008, We have continued to
acquire portfolios of non-performing mortgages and REO's with
discounts of up to 85%. Having entered the space approximately one
year prior to most financial institutions and recognizing the
distressed sector as the "next gold rush", we positioned ourselves
ahead of the learning curve, in an asset class that others have
attempted and failed.
Through seasoned relationships, we continue to procure
residential non-performing mortgages and REO's globally at
discounts of up to 85%*. We utilize a proprietary short-term
methodology to reposition and resell the assets in a manner that is
able to generate a 20% annualized rate of return, without
leverage.
By applying a methodical and assiduous due diligence process,
while acquiring assets on a deeply discounted basis, we are able to
significantly reduce the investment risk for ourselves and our
institutional investment partners.
